When driving towards Semuliki you will pass the stunning ridges of the Rwenzori mountains, also called ‘Mountains of the Moon’.  After a short drive you will arrive in the only part of true lowland tropical forest in East Africa hosting over 400 bird species and over 50 mammals. After a game drive in the park, you will also be able to stop at the hot springs that bear witness to the movements of subterranean forces for over 14 million years.
